Cancellation and refunds

The short version of how cancellations work for Chiltern Safaris tours. The full detail is in our Terms & Conditions, which apply to every booking.

If you cancel

29 days or more before the tour: full refund. 15–28 days before: 50% refund, or a free transfer to another available date within 12 months. 14 days or fewer before, or if you don’t attend: no refund — our costs with vineyards, caterers and transport are committed by then, though if we can resell your place we’ll refund you in full. You can transfer your ticket to another person free of charge up to 48 hours before the tour.

If we cancel or move a tour

Each tour needs a minimum of 12 guests. If a date doesn’t reach its minimum, or we have to cancel for another reason (such as weather that makes the day unsafe), we’ll tell you promptly and you choose: another date, a 12-month credit, or a full refund. Refunds reach your original payment method within 14 days.

Gift cards

Valid for 12 months from purchase. Online gift card purchases can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the card hasn’t been redeemed.

Booked through GetYourGuide or Viator?

Cancellations and refunds for those bookings are handled through the platform you booked with, under its cancellation policy.
